This year's Yorkshire Dales Cheese Festival runs from 14th to 22nd September.
It starts with events at Wensleydale Creamery including cheese making, cheese grading and cookery demonstrations, masterclasses, tastings and chances to meet cheese makers and food producers in the marquee.
This is followed by seven days of feasting with events across the Yorkshire Dales National Park and Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
At the end of the Festival on 22nd September the Dales Countryside Museum will host their own event, with demonstrations of butter making and talks on cheese making, and a Dairy Days exhibition telling the story of dairying in Wensleydale.
Many of the events during the Festival are free, but you will need to book in advance for highlights such as a visit to Stonebeck Cheese at Low Riggs Farm by Middlesmoor, for SHEEPtember at the Courtyard Dairy near Settle, and for paid events such as cheese making classes, and cheese and wine evening at Wensleydale Experience.
