Richard Duckworth is a Qualified Mountain Leader based in Howgill Fells, with a huge passion for walking in the hills and mountains of the UK. He runs guided group walks in some of the UK’s most stunning hill & mountain areas, map reading courses (beginner through to advanced), supports corporate team building days, as well as leading challenge walks and working on NGB walking award training courses. Navigation Courses: Richard holds the NNAS Navigation Tutor Award and runs Beginner level, Intermediate and Advanced navigation courses. They are fantastic 2 day courses and a package and location can be tailored to suit you.He also runs a popular 1 day ‘Introduction to Map Reading’ course which covers basic navigation & map reading techniques. These introductory days are ideal for those with no experience navigating with a map. Guided Walks: Richard offers bespoke private walking days, which can be organised for individuals or groups, with packages able to be tailored to suit your needs. Suggested duration: Courses usually run for 1-2 days, but Richard is more than happy to discuss individual requirements. Price guideline per person: Prices are available on request.
