Laceys Cheese - Cheese Making Courses

Laceys cheese making courses are a truly unique day out in the dales. Lacey’s Cheese host fun, rewarding and informative days making cheese in the Yorkshire dales. Laceys are traditional cheese makers who aim to bring their handmade cheese to all north east Farmers Markets and most of the region’s shows. Their cheeses include traditional Wensleydale, mature and smoked Cheddar, and blue cheeses. Their courses can be tailored for anywhere between 1-10 people, and include:
  • A full days cheese making, taught by a knowledgeable & enthusiastic Cheese maker
  • A tasty lunch (cheese, of course!)
  • Refreshments throughout the day
  • A selection of cheese to take home with you

Suggested duration: Courses usually run from 10am – 4pm and we tend to make a range of Wensleydales, although courses for specific cheeses can be arranged!

Price guideline per person: Courses cost £99.00 per person or £150.00 for a couple including lunch and a selection of cheese. There are discounts for groups – just ask. A full advice service is available.
